November is the time to spend time with family, remembering what we are all thankful for. As another turbulent year draws to a close, it’s important to remember to be thankful for what we have and to enjoy the company of those closest to us in our lives.

As the Northern Hemisphere prepares for the long cold winter months, November is the month to enjoy the last of the warmth. All the leaves have fallen from the trees by now, the birds have migrated south, the days are getting colder and darker, and the fields long since been harvested.

November is a time of reflection, of looking back on the times of plenty and preparing for the challenge ahead. Many homes will be decorated with the signs of hearth and hospitality. When choosing to decorate your home and your table, it’s important to make sure you provide an atmosphere of warmth and family.
